The breakfast selection was simple, with bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, and hard-boiled eggs. The dining and serving areas stayed clean and well stocked, and the front desk was friendly and accommodating. Just off I-95, Spark by Hilton gave us a clean, comfortable, affordable, and welcoming stay. We’ll use this hotel again on future trips.

The room was large and clean, and the staff were friendly. Everything worked except the bedside lights. The finishes weren’t as nice as at other Hilton properties, but the lower price reflects that. It was fine for what we needed.

It’s a decent, fairly priced place to get some rest after business training. I wasn’t focused on the hotel’s ambiance, just needed somewhere to sleep. Check-in was quick, the room was clean, and it had the basic amenities a three-star hotel should have. The bagel breakfast was decent for the price, and the service is about what you’d expect from a two- or three-star place. The elevators need attention and cleaning. Internet was a bit unreliable for online work, dropping in and out occasionally.

The front desk guy was genuinely nice. I dropped my sleep apnea machine outside without realizing it had fallen off the luggage dolly, and he was bringing it in when I came back through the entrance. I really appreciated him finding it. That kindness aside, I wouldn't stay here again. The carpet and floors were so stained and filthy I wouldn't let my dog walk on them. The manager even agreed the carpet needed replacing, but I doubt the owner will pay for it. They did a small renovation and now call it Spark by Hilton, though my invoice still said Comfort Inn. The old doors and carpet were left behind, and there's no cleaning that can fix that carpet. The room had no microwave or coffee maker. Breakfast was poor too: lukewarm coffee in a thermos, no orange juice because they were waiting for a delivery, and a hard, noisy muffin. The woman working breakfast was in a room texting instead of keeping an eye on things. Ice was only available on the first and second floors, and the luggage carts were basically broken dollies with no high bar to hang things on. I've been traveling for 47 years and stayed in hundreds, maybe thousands, of hotels. With newer hotels nearby, I'd avoid this place.
