The room was well appointed, and the hotel is in a perfect location. Justin was friendly and helpful with our vehicle valet and luggage, and the staff were very hospitable. We enjoyed the complimentary daily happy hour, and the restaurant’s food was excellent. The room was very hot, though, and changing the thermostat didn’t seem to make a difference. More hooks in the bathroom for towels or clothes would’ve helped, along with a small table or stool for setting things down. Still, we had a wonderful stay and will be back.

The Marshall House has that nostalgic feeling, like being part of history, but with electricity, lol. There’s definitely a piece of history still living there. The staff were personable, helpful, and great, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was amazing, right down to the last cup of coffee, and the evening cheese and wine were great too. I can’t say enough about this place and would highly recommend staying.

The room was wonderful, with all the historic charm we were looking for. Breakfast was delicious, and the evening wine and cheese bar was one of our favorite parts. Everyone on staff was friendly, wonderful, and helpful with anything we needed. We’ll stay here every time we return to Savannah. It’s definitely a haunted hotel, though! We arrived at 1:00 in the morning after airline delays, and at 2:00 there were three knocks at our door. No one was there. The knocking happened every night or morning for the rest of our stay. My husband left his phone on the nightstand, and when we woke up it had moved to another table. Neither of us had gotten out of bed.

The old fireplaces and a few creaking floorboards gave the inn a historic feel, and it was still well maintained and comfortable. The lobby’s evening wine down with entertainment was lovely, and the restaurant-style breakfast was an unusual bonus for a hotel stay. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout. This charming inn is in a really convenient part of downtown Savannah and was the highlight of our weekend getaway. I’d absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone who likes a cozy, distinctive hotel with a slightly mysterious atmosphere.

We stayed four nights during the first week of December, and the service and accommodations were great. The Marshall House is right on Broughton Street, within walking distance of attractions, stores, and plenty of restaurants. Dana brought kind, helpful service and positive energy at both the front desk and concierge. The whole staff was wonderful. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the 5pm wine and cheese, with a guitarist singing favorite songs each night. We also had a delicious dinner at 45 Deck, the restaurant accessible from inside the hotel. I was so glad we booked our Savannah vacation here and got to enjoy this historic city.
