George McIntosh Troup Square is a small but interesting Savannah square. Designed in 1851, it was named for former State Senator and Governor George McIntosh Troup. There’s an Armillary Sphere and a water fountain for dogs.

Beautiful square. I liked the plaque about James Pierpont, who wrote “Jingle Bells,” and I managed to find a hidden geocache, too.
