The best part for me is the partnership with Lifetime Fitness, just about five minutes away behind the hotel. The hotel gym is good already, but I work out seriously and need all the machines and equipment at a proper gym. Keeping up my routine on work trips makes such a difference, so I’ll probably keep booking here whenever I’m in town for business. I’m staying at Fairfield now for a business trip and was so relieved to find it after getting frustrated trying to find somewhere decent near our work location. I looked at so many hotels before choosing this one, and the surprises after I arrived were all pleasant. I saw dogs, so I think they generally allow them, which made me happy. The room is very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, especially by US standards. The cleaning ladies are sweet and kind, and reception staff are great. Shoutout to the guy who helped at check-in and explained the gym partnership and everything. Breakfast was another nice surprise, with warm choices like eggs, frittatas, and bacon, plus good fruit. So many US hotels have sad continental breakfasts, so this was good by US standards. It’s not luxury Asian hotel breakfast level, of course, but it had what I needed for a healthy breakfast. The staff here are genuinely lovely. I absolutely love this place. Thank you so much!

We booked a one-night stay for two adults and two young kids. Check-in was easy, and the pool was okay, with a maximum depth of five feet. Before that, there had been a man who seemed possibly under the influence trying to get into the glass fitness room and then the pool. He couldn’t get in, left the parking lot, and went out into the street. Our kids were in bed by 9:30 pm. The neighbors had been loud and jovial since 9:00, but it was Saturday and before the 10 pm quiet time. At 10:15 they were still loud, so I called the desk and Elaine sent night manager David to check. At 10:30, people were still coming and going from their room. David stood outside listening for a few minutes, knocked, and asked them to quiet down. He left looking satisfied with himself. By 10:40 they were louder and had added Bollywood music. I called again, and the noise stopped. David came back and stood in the hallway. I went out and asked if I could help. He said he’d been standing there and heard nothing. They’d heard the elevator and his footsteps, of course. David wouldn’t contact them again or resolve it, basically telling me we’d have to deal with it. I asked for a reasonable accommodation or a refund if we left that night. He said because we booked through a third party, it would have to go through that site, but he was vague and made it seem like he and the hotel staff wouldn’t allow that. At 11 pm, the neighbors were still loud, so my wife and I woke the kids, packed up, and left. David had confirmed the complaint and spoken to the neighbors once, so by then there was a pattern. He still wouldn’t use common sense or do his job to protect other guests’ stay. He didn’t address the noisy guests with the same energy he used on me. He has no backbone and seemed like someone who’d retired while still on the job. David plain sucks. We cancelled and left before 11:59, but the next day the hotel said a refund wasn’t applicable. I spoke with an Expedia agent, told them what happened and about David, and then my refund was magically approved. The hotel’s paper-thin walls and frustrating, headache-inducing staff made for a horrible experience. If you book directly, you won’t get a refund. Stay away.

This is finally the ideal place for me to stay in Schaumburg. The rooms are clean, coffee is out early, and hot breakfast comes with the stay. It’s in a great spot, and there’s free access to Life Time Fitness across the parking lot. Great service and people working here. Five stars.

I really appreciated that weekend breakfast runs until 9:30, which is great for those of us who like sleeping in a bit. The room was clean, breakfast was good, and the pool was warm. Nice hotel.

The only odd thing was my street-facing room had just a light sheer to block the light. I arrived at 11:30 pm after a long travel day, and the night Manager was welcoming. He was training a new Agent and did a great job letting them work through my check-in. The rooms have been nicely redone, the gym is fabulous, the hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the place was. I’m in Schaumburg for work every few months, and this will be my go-to hotel. I’ll be back soon!
