I keep getting notifications telling me to leave, even though I'm still a guest here because of business. The latest one came today, and it again points to poor internal communication. Thanks for the response, but the operational problems continue, and this has all been very unpleasant and unfortunate. I'll report the whole experience to my company. Earlier, they locked me out, saying I was supposed to have checked out. The next day, Monica at the front desk called and rudely demanded that I vacate without asking the right questions or letting me explain. Another guest in the lobby said Monica had been rude to her too. The lack of manners and hospitality knowledge is incredible. When I reported that the AC wasn't working, it took them three days before they finally moved me to another room. Inefficient operations seem to be a problem throughout. I have nothing good to say about the place or staff. Don't book here.

We were three people sharing room 404, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite. The rug had holes, the couch upholstery was torn, and the chairs were peeling and ripped. The staff were nice, but wow, the room was decrepit. This hotel needs updating.

Both people I dealt with at the front desk were wonderful. Darryl was especially delightful and sorted things out right away after a neighboring hotel overbooked us and we had to stay here. The room was fine but could use a little sprucing up, and the bed was hard.

For work, I get to stay at the Schaumburg/Woodfield Mall Residence Inn every three months, and it feels like the best home away from home I could ask for. I love being able to bring my dog for two weeks on the road. The location is fantastic, and breakfast is top-notch. The biscuits and gravy earn bonus points every time. Andrea, the front desk manager, has been prompt, courteous, and professional in her communication. I met her on my last visit, and she was just as kind and accommodating in person. The pool was clean and had towels, though the water wasn't very warm. Breakfast was good, and we enjoyed having coffee, lemonade, and water during the day. The front desk staff were phenomenal, super welcoming and kind. The rooms were clean but showed some wear. They could use new chairs and updated paint and caulking. The pullout beds were stained and so uncomfortable that the kids slept on the couch instead. We asked for extra blankets and mentioned it, and even the front desk person agreed. With that awful pullout couch, I'm not sure we'd stay again as a family.
