The new owners have clearly put care and effort into updating the rooms and making the stay a good experience. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed: a fridge, microwave, table and chairs, and TV. It was a great value among Maine’s many beautiful destinations.

We brought our dogs and had no issues. The motel was quiet, easy to reach, and well maintained, with clean rooms that had plenty of character. The sheltered sitting area in front of each room was a nice touch. No complaints, and I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

The owners are great, and the location can’t be beat. We’ve stayed several times, and the rooms are spotless every time. I usually hate hotel stays because the rooms, especially the showers, never feel clean enough to me. This is one of the few places where they really do.

My husband, our puppy, and I stayed at the Yardarm from July 20 through July 27. It’s a quirky motel in a good way, with a comfortable room and WiFi that worked well. We loved the blueberry muffins in the breakfast room. I highly recommend it in mid-coast Maine, convenient to everything.

The owners are wonderful people, and the price was very reasonable. The rooms have all been newly renovated, and check-in and checkout were completely contactless. Breakfast was a great continental spread, with fresh blueberry muffins. The location is beautiful and convenient. You can’t get more Maine than this. 10/10, I’ll be back!
