Executive Inn by the Space Needle

The paper-thin walls were the one thing I didn’t like. We could hear everything from both neighboring rooms, though luckily the people staying there weren’t obnoxious. Still, I’d come back. It was a decent deal for one night, and the view of the Space Needle didn’t disappoint. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the friendly staff were quick to help when we needed anything. Breakfast looked like a typical small hotel spread, so I didn’t try it. The location is close to bars, food, and plenty of fun things to do. After checkout they let us leave our car in the garage while we went sightseeing, which we really appreciated and made the parking fee worthwhile.

The front desk handled a parking ticket for us after we parked in a faded handicap spot that was hard to see at night. We also left money in the safe by mistake, and management were honest enough to mail us a check. The service was excellent. We enjoyed the stay, with comfortable, quiet rooms and an amazing view of the Space Needle. You can walk there in five minutes. Highly recommend.

The air conditioner was broken and only blew medium-warm air, so the room was hard to warm up at night in December. Some breakfast items, including the baked goods, didn’t seem fresh, although there was a decent selection with self-serve waffles. The room was a decent size and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our short visit. The hotel is a convenient five-minute walk from the Space Needle, and parking cost less than at other hotels, though I still don’t see why hotels charge for it. For a decent stay, I’d recommend it. One tip: booking online was cheaper than the direct rate, even when I tried to extend by a night while already at the hotel.

We paid $96 for the night, and the clean, comfortable beds and nice view made it worthwhile. Pike Market and other attractions are an easy walk away. There’s a large dining area and a bar on site, plus secure underground parking. They let us leave the car there until 4pm the next day, which was nice. For the money, this is an excellent hotel.
