broooo, this place was filthy. Cigarette smell everywhere, from the bed to the hall and lobby. The sheets had brown stains and there was debris left by whoever stayed before. The toilet seat was yellow, and the brown shower had stuff in the drain, like nobody had cleaned it properly. Do they even have a janitor? This ruined my cracking session. I’m a regular Motel 6 customer, so I’m seriously disappointed. At least the guy checking me in was nice.

I won’t stay here again when I’m back in the Providence area. On arrival I waited 20 minutes for anyone to show up at the front desk. The bathroom barely had any towels, the bedding felt cheap, and the ceiling fan didn’t work while I showered. I was gasping for air afterward, and the toilet needed four flushes to clear everything. The next day, after being out in Providence, I came back to find at least two cockroaches crawling on the shower curtain. I got rid of them myself, but it was disturbing to know there were insects in the room where I was sleeping.

I was worried after reading the bad reviews, but the stay turned out great. The rooms were modern and very clean, and the rates were more than fair. It’s easy to get to Providence by Uber, and the place felt more like a decent hotel than a roadside motel. The air conditioning was comfortable and the ventilation was excellent. Staff at the front desk were friendly, quick to help, and accommodating. I was very happy with my stay and would recommend it.

The room was fairly clean and the bed was comfortable, so for a motel it was a decent enough stay. My main frustration was waiting 10-15 minutes for someone to come to the desk when I was checking in. We were only there overnight and didn’t have much contact with staff, but everyone we met was friendly. There’s an ice machine and vending machines for drinks and snacks. I was surprised by how much I liked the free coffee in the morning.

The staff were nice, which is about the only positive I can give. I knew Motel 6 wouldn’t be fancy, but this was disgusting. There was pee left in the shower, so the room clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. I saw big roaches in the hallway right after paying, then came back from work and saw five more. I managed to catch and kill only two of those five. The walls are thin enough that I could hear TVs downstairs, and you can see smoke residue on the walls. The place needs to do better or close. I’m moving into my apartment next week, and I’ll be furious if I find any roaches there.
