Econo Lodge

I booked a non-smoking room, but the blankets had cigarette burns. The man who sold us the room was rude. We checked out in under an hour because we were unhappy, but the worker refused to refund us. It wasn't worth $60 for one night. Terrible experience, and I'll never stay there again. We went to days inn and had a much better experience.

The staff were nice, and when our fridge broke, they replaced it that first night at 11 p.m. The price and staff are about all this place has going for it. The rooms are outdated and dirty, with blood stains on the bathroom wall, burn holes in the sheets, and holes in the curtains that anyone could see through.

We knew the rooms were small and the double beds were full size. We only needed somewhere to sleep and shower, not much else, and it worked for that. The place was nice and clean, and the staff were very friendly. The gentleman who checked us in was joking around but polite. All three of our rooms had a fridge and microwave, but no coffee maker. Maybe there was one at the front desk if I'd asked.

The room smelled strongly of smoke and mold, and there was dust everywhere. The shower and sink had mold, and the bedspread had cigarette holes. Housekeeping opened my door before giving me time to answer after I said no. Two months later, they knocked again and stayed right outside. I won't stay here again.
