Days Inn by Wyndham Sherman

I left with two nights still paid for and didn’t get any of my money back. The whole stay was awful, and I had to move to another hotel to get some sleep. There was glass in the parking lot, and anyone could walk through the side entrance because the doors weren’t secured with a key card. People blasted bass at all hours, even after I called to complain. My room’s air conditioner didn’t work properly, and its buttons didn’t work either. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but a smoking sign was taped to the door above the number, and the whole floor smelled like smoke. The room was disgusting, nothing was clean, and the comforter had holes in it. As a woman traveling alone, I didn’t feel safe with the lack of door security. I’ll avoid this place on future trips and won’t recommend it to anyone I know.

They call it free breakfast, if you can even call it that. You’re better off eating at a gas station. This hotel seems meant for a few nights and then getting out. Find another place if you want more from your stay.

The receptionists were probably the only good thing about this place. The advertised breakfast was sad: granola bars, cereal, yogurt, and a microwave breakfast taco. The plates for the cereal were dirty and sticky, and the granola bars and yogurt were the only decent food. The no-smoking hotel still smelled of smoke all through the super dirty hallway. The floors were sticky too. It was dirty from the start. My son found dead bugs under the bed, and the bathroom was disgusting. We always bring our own blankets, thankfully, because what we saw when we pulled back the top sheet that morning was absolutely disgusting. I regret not checking reviews before making a last-minute booking close to where we had to go. I wish I’d taken pictures of the bathroom and under the bed. You get what you pay for lol. I don’t recommend it and won’t be coming back.

I spent four days here at a decent nightly price, and the motel was 100% clean. I enjoyed it more than I expected. There’s food nearby, within walking distance, which I especially recommend if you’re from out of town. The staff were welcoming and professional, especially the gentleman at the front desk. I hope to travel back and see you again in the near future. Thanks 🙏
