Studio 6 Suites Shreveport, LA – Industrial Loop

We paid for two rooms and left without even taking a picture. The front desk guy was nice and showed us other rooms, but none worked for us, so he refunded us. It was a nightmare: peeling baseboards, lights with missing bulbs or that wouldn't turn on, a broken TV, and a remote that fell apart. There were no towels, crumbs on the sheets, poop stains in the shower, and an overwhelming dead rat smell.

It was 34 degrees, feeling like 28, at 9:30 at night on December 14th, and the heat didn't work. The walls were filthy, there was black mold in the shower/tub, and the TV remote was dead. Even the in-room coffee pot had no basket for the grounds. On top of that, they charged an extra fee for my support dog. I've stayed at many a Motel 6, and this is by far the worst one I've seen. Do yourself a favor and pass it by.

The ceiling had black mold and there were roaches. The AC sounded like a C130 taking off and landing every 10 minutes, and there were no outlets except the ones by the sink. It's crappy. Save your money and sleep in your car instead. I don't recommend it.

The place was cheap and clean, and I'd always come back if I visit shreveport again. The employees were understanding and courteous. I slept late and woke up late, but they gave me extra time to check out so I could get ready. I had a quiet night with no disturbances. Sleep matters more than the other amenities, whether you're at a Sheraton, Hilton, or here. Wonderful people.
