The room had everything I needed for a work trip, and I found it really relaxing. It’s right off the highway, with food and gas just minutes away. The front desk guy was friendly, and everything in the room was clean. The TV is just basic cable, but at least there’s something to watch. The toilet seat sticks out a little, but it works. I almost stayed at the Travel Inn/Super 8 behind Motel 6, but they make you check in at Motel 6 anyway, so I stayed here and was glad I did. It’s nothing fancy, and I wish there’d been a small bottle of shampoo or conditioner since I’d forgotten my conditioner. Still, no other issues, and I’d recommend it.

A decent place to stay, with clean rooms and very friendly staff. They welcome pets, and the smoking side is fully separate from the rest of the hotel.

After a night at the Travel Inn, we stayed at Motel 6 and liked it a lot less. The Travel Inn had big beds and a nice bathroom with a closet area you could close off while getting dressed. At Motel 6, the beds were thin, there wasn’t room to close the bathroom door while changing, and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way. It cost more, too. There was no carpet. We much preferred the Travel Inn.

I paid online for a room, but when I got there the employee refused to check me in. They said the motel doesn’t take online bookings and only accepts cash. I’d paid for a room and still ended up out on the street.
