Quality Inn

I spent six days there and never had hot water for a shower. I complained several times and even changed rooms, but it didn’t help. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, and the heat went out in the middle of the night. They only have four employees to run the whole hotel, and the cleanliness was pretty bad. I don’t usually complain, but this was the worst stay of my life.

There were bedbugs, and I wouldn’t spend my money here. The place is run down and, in my view, needs to close for health and safety. The shower water takes ages to heat and doesn’t stay hot long. They’re short-staffed, the lobby is locked from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and the keys aren’t programmed very well. There’s no elevator to the second floor, either. Don’t let your work book this place, and don’t stay here.

My family and I booked for December 25 and 26. The room we were given didn’t have the hot tub we’d booked, and since we’d reserved through a third-party website, they wouldn’t change it. We understood that, but after a five-hour drive we were tired and planned to call it a night. Something felt off, so I checked the bed and bathroom as I do at every hotel. I found bedbugs. We hadn’t unpacked, so we left. The room cost was refunded, and the deposit was too, but neither refund came for seven days. We had to find another hotel and nearly ended up driving all the way home. I’d recommend staying away.

I’m a disabled combat veteran with lung problems, yet they put me in a smoking room. The room was dirty and the bed was broken, and they charged me a $200 deposit even though the room cost $84 and I expected a $100 deposit. I’m a Choice Hotels diamond member, and the service was awful. They didn’t communicate about the deposit, and after I asked for a manager to call me when available, no one called. They failed to follow ADA and federal laws. I hate seeing these Quality hotels sold off and then poorly managed by new owners. I’ll never stay here again.
