It’s affordable, and the people are nice. They keep an older, motel-like place clean and do a good job of it. Just don’t expect the Ritz-Carlton.

There was a lot of action, and I met a beautiful Black man when I came into the lobby wearing just my robe. We talked, then he came back with me. Such a gentleman, and so beautiful. I really want to see him again. I think he might be a regular. I want to clean up and take great care of him, and I owe him. It was last night, my 114. Room. Lmk 🤗

Once I saw the state of the property, I told my family we had to leave. The floors, vending machines, ice machines, and laundry area disgusted me, and the room itself was filthy too. I was told there was frequent police activity and a lot of crime at this motel, with people staying there daily, monthly, and yearly. I’d sent my family up in the elevator while I went back to the truck for our things; when I rode up, it smelled strongly of smoke and looked in terrible shape. I couldn’t even tell whether it would work after pressing a button, though it did take me to the second floor. This wasn’t as advertised, and they refused to refund us.

The hallways were disgusting, and the ice machine didn’t work. The Queen City in Long Beach, California, is so falsely advertised and filthy that I don’t know where to begin. The place is run by a nasty group of people. Save your money. If you stay here, you’d fare better with a cardboard box. I’d give it negative five stars if I could.
