The location is really convenient, just off the highway in Simpsonville and surrounded by restaurants and shopping. It’s quiet, I feel safe, and the staff are helpful. The recently renovated rooms are clean, and they did a great job with them. All rooms and suites are under $100. There’s a $50 deposit for incidentals, which you get back as long as the room stays in good shape. Pets are allowed for an additional fee. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of booking.

Housekeeping didn’t arrive until after 5 PM, and there was nowhere in the bathroom to hang towels, so they ended up on the floor and started to smell. When we left the smelly towels outside the room because of the odor, staff reprimanded us instead of dealing with the problem. There were pubic hairs on the towels and bed linens. After I showered, the towel left me covered in someone else’s hair, and there was a foreign substance in the bedding that looked like tobacco. This was one of the most unsanitary hotel stays I’ve had, and it raises serious sanitation concerns for a Quality Inn property. I hope management addresses it immediately.

The location is incredible, but the advertising is misleading. The corporate website says children under 18 stay at no charge, yet they charge $30.00 per night for children over 12 and under 18. I guess they make up their own frivolous fees, like seeing something priced at .99 cents at a 7/11 and then finding a $1.25 price tag. It never fails. Imagine a family with more than two children.

There were roaches everywhere. I killed at least 10 during just 24 hours there. They hadn’t cleaned the room at all and used the same sheets we had before. It was loud all night, with people getting drunk right outside the room, so I couldn’t sleep. The paint was peeling off the wall too. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to a pet. 0/10, if I could give zero stars, I would.

We were a little unsure about booking after seeing the negative reviews, but the stay was pretty good. The sheets were clean, the breakfast was tasty, and there were no roaches or bed bugs. Thank you! 😋
