Maria, who was at the front desk for most of my stay, was super sweet and helpful. The hot water worked, the AC was cold, there were no bugs, and my car wasn't stolen or broken into. It's pet friendly too, with Valero next door for late-night snacks and several places to eat nearby. I believe there's an HEB close by as well. The room did the job while I was passing through, but the nightly price didn't feel worth it. The place is outdated and could use renovations. My keycard failed every day, so I had to get it renewed each time. The room smelled like water that had sat too long, and the window frame had a ton of mold in the crevices. At least the window opened. A do-not-disturb sign would help, since there's no way to tell housekeeping not to barge in while you're sleeping. If you need a night or two in lil Sinton, it'll do. Portland is the closest main town, with more and nicer options if you can spend extra.

My husband had a good check-in and got to choose where our room would be. For safety, he picked a spot near the front so our vehicle would be in a well-lit area, and it was undisturbed overnight. We'd driven from north of Houston to Alice for a family funeral and needed somewhere to shower and sleep on the way home, where we could see more family. The rooms are small, but the bedding and towels smelled fresh and clean. There was a mini frig and mini microwave, and HEB was a 4 minute drive away for snacks and bubble bath for our kiddo. It was mostly quiet, apart from some light coming around the blackout curtain. We didn't hear noise above us, and while we heard doors closing, people didn't let them slam. I'd read the reviews and was nervous about booming this hotel, but I grabbed ear plugs and hoped for the best.

The staff at the front were so nice and helpful, and we slept well on the really soft beds. The big upgraded flat screen TV had a table, the AC got freezing cold like I like it, and the bathroom had hot water. No bugs either. Still, the room felt outdated and dusty, and there was a random 28 cents' worth of change in the front and bathroom. The sheets were paper thin. The hotel smelled musty, and all the outside entrances were left open. There are two floors but no elevators, so staying on the first floor may be better for elder care. The shower was dirty, with hair and dirt in it, and the water wouldn't drain. Paint was peeling all over the room doors. Pictures for proof. For a long drive break or a trucker, it could work as a one stop. This was our first motel 6 experience, and you get what you pay for.

It was a decent room for a decent price. The room was a little older, but clean, and the staff were friendly. It's a basic motel, so my expectations were lower than usual.

The front desk lady was so nice, and the room was a decent size. After a long drive, we arrived late and were so tired, but my kids and I slept comfortably. The place felt safe and the A/c worked perfectly. There was a big tv with Hdmi ports and tv buttons. I liked that the rooms are inside, so you have to go through the entrance, though the back entrance was unlocked. I saw a few teslas outside and they have chargers for electric cars. Best choice ever! It was good.
