I’ll choose this place every time I’m back in Sioux Falls. The location felt safe, with everything I needed close by, and I could walk outside without worrying or seeing people lingering around. The room felt brand new, with a modern, fully equipped kitchen. It was exceptionally clean, as was the whole property, and thoughtfully maintained. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. They also offer pots and pans, free parking, free laundry with 24/7 access, and a 24/7 gym. Jon at the front desk deserves a special mention for outstanding service. Whenever I needed something, the staff took care of it right away and made me feel welcome. Thanks to Jon and the team, they’ve earned my business.

I travel a lot for work and mostly stay with IHG, and this has been one of the best Candlewood Suites. The place is so clean, which I really appreciate as a clean freak. Staff have always been accommodating, especially the very nice man and woman at the front desk. Even housekeeping checked whether I needed anything as I was heading out to do laundry. I’m very impressed with this location.
8/10
The service, rooms, and staff were superb, and I’d recommend it for a stay of several nights. Late at night I did hear noise by my door, and I couldn’t move the shower head. Those were the only things I didn’t care for.
10/10
The front desk person was super friendly, and there’s free coffee and tea in the lobby all day. The interior and spacious rooms were very clean. Even though the hotel is next to the freeway, I didn’t hear much traffic. I think it deserves at least three stars.

We paid $240 total for one night in a king suite, and it worked out great. The room was clean and nicely furnished, and we had a great interaction with the staff. We walked to Granite City for dinner, then had a relaxed, light breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast, and coffee before leaving. A really relaxing stay.
