Canopy By Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown

On a sunny late August morning, I had coffee in my bathrobe and could hear and see a freight train in the distance. Before that, I took an early walk to Falls Park, just 60 seconds away. Our spacious room felt almost brand new, like we might have been the fifth couple to book it, and it had a beautiful balcony overlooking Sioux Falls Park. The whole hotel was brand new and left me very impressed. I would’ve stayed another day, but we had to continue our road trip.

This has become my clear choice in Sioux Falls. The one drawback was the mattress, which felt uncomfortably firm; otherwise, the experience was flawless. The hotel is steps from plenty of restaurants and shopping, and has on-site dining. Its modern design, carefully put together atmosphere, and high standards for hygiene and cleanliness made the stay comfortable. Customer service was exemplary, and this is by far the finest hotel I’ve experienced in the area.

We’d never been to Sioux Falls before and found this very nice hotel in the Steel District. The neighborhood has a great vibe and feels revitalized, with many good places to eat nearby. We liked the restaurant and café, and the extensive conference center looked excellent for anyone needing business meeting space. The staff were very kind and helpful.

My room had a view of the falls, which looked especially pretty with the Christmas lights. I also appreciated the luggage storage area, the door between the bedroom, and the lit magnifying mirror. The room was very clean and spacious. I’d highly recommend staying here.
