The bedding was clean, and we didn't see any cockroaches or bedbugs. The rooms are cheap, but there were little black flies of some kind, a sewage smell, and the shower took a while to drain.

For the price, it was alright. If you're in town for a few days and only need a bed, I'd recommend it. The Frying Pan restaurant is within walking distance and has a $5.99 breakfast special, which is a big plus.

The price seemed low, but in hindsight it wasn't worth it. There are better places nearby for only a little more that can offer a clean room and working facilities. This motel felt unsanitary and poorly maintained, and management refused to refund us so we could stay somewhere else, despite the rooms' condition. Our first room had a strong sewage smell. The second was somewhat better, but the bathroom still smelled of sewage. The tub wouldn't drain properly, so during showers we stood ankle deep in dirty water, with grime coming back up through the drain. Guests next door told us their tub and sink had the same problem. I know this is probably a budget motel, but paying customers should still get basic cleanliness and functioning plumbing.
