2W Lake

Talking with Clark after breakfast was a highlight. He shared stories about the town and the beautiful, rare artwork around the house, which made the stay feel special. Our lake-facing room had a lovely view and the things you’d expect in a hotel, including a Keurig. The bedding was clean and high quality, the bed very comfortable, and the house itself is beautiful, right across from Skaneateles Lake.

The breakfast Clark made each morning was excellent and clearly prepared with care. He was thoughtful about the little things, too: after a major snowstorm, he cleared our car without being asked. We found the home cozy, and our room was roomy and comfortable. Clark was warm and attentive without hovering, and was around for easy chats about travel, the town, or whatever came up. A really lovely stay, and we’d happily return.

The main business district, with its shops and places to eat, is only a few minutes away on foot. We had a wonderful time here and would gladly stay again if we get the chance. Our room was great, breakfast was delicious, and Clark was an amazing host. We had a long conversation over breakfast and learned a lot about how he came to run the B&B.

Clark is a pleasure to be around and seems to know when guests want their space. If you’re in the mood to talk, he’s well worth a conversation. The breakfasts were five-star, and the rooms were comfortable and very nicely done. The location is hard to beat. 2W Lake B and B is just what a B and. B should be. We had a wonderful weekend and hope more people discover this gem.
