The location worked fine for our annual trips to New Ulm, about a 15-minute drive away, and the room and hotel were fairly clean. Food was ordinary but fresh, and service was okay. Still, two out of the three times I spoke with someone, they were on the phone with what seemed like more important conversations and hurried me along. The beds were extremely hard, with only about three feet between them and the floor. I don't plan to stay here again.

I booked easily through Priceline for a short stay before bad weather, since I had to work the next day. For the price, I expected more. The hot tub and sauna were both out of order, so I tried to unwind in the bathtub, but there wasn't enough hot water to fill it. I also got dirty towels, and there was a white powdery substance on the floor. Check-in took a call to get someone to the front desk, and the TV only had one channel. When I called about that, I was told someone would come right over, but after an hour I had to go find them. I wouldn't come back.

The bathroom fan was the loudest I've ever heard, and the doors weren't sealed properly, so you could hear everything happening in every room. WiFi didn't work, vending machines were hit or miss, and the continental breakfast was gross. There were holes in the walls, a broken hair dryer, mold in the shower, dirty bedding, and ants all over the room floors. Insect traps were scattered around the building too. It was tolerable for a night or two, but not somewhere to stay if you want a comfortable, clean place.

Even with a wedding celebration happening in the event center next door, we slept quietly. Everything was very clean and well kept. The one letdown was the shower in the morning: the water was lukewarm, so it wasn't uncomfortable, but we would've preferred it hot. I'd definitely stay again.
