We felt safe here, and it was easy to get to, with boat and plantation tours nearby. Our room was spacious and clean, and the shower had hot water with good pressure. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a standard hot spread, just what we expected, and not bad. We stayed one night and I’d definitely come back.

My family and I had a terrible two-night stay. My sister is still trying to get a $95 charge reversed, which we believe was fraudulent, but we can’t reach the hotel. None of the numbers we were given, or the ones on the website, work.

The front desk gentleman was friendly and professional, and the room was fairly clean. Still, it had a strange smell, a bug on the toilet that may have been a silverfish, and a wad of hair stuck to the shower wall. By 8 AM, they’d run out of sausage and eggs. I had to wake the front desk lady to make more, and she only made sausage. I’m a plumber, and I found the toilet flange was broken underneath, leaving the toilet rocking. If the toilet moves and its seal is compromised, bugs could come up from the main sewer line, which would explain what I saw.

I’ve been charged several times and still haven’t gotten my money back, even after six days. The room looked nothing like the pictures, and the staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing. They had an attitude when I asked for the money I worked for to be returned. The food wasn’t good either. Never again, and that’s not even all of it.
