The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, and honestly they saved the trip for me. The room was another story. It was huge and had a kitchen, but everything in the drawers was filthy, there was no hand soap, and I wouldn’t take my shoes off. The whole third floor had a horrible smell, somewhere between cat spray and old carpet. I later learned we’d been “upgraded” because they were overbooked and I’d asked for a bathtub. If that was the upgrade, I dread to think what a regular room is like. A neighboring room had its door open, and I saw white powder spread around inside the next day, maybe to absorb smells. My room could’ve used some too. It was all dated, and for $72 I know you get what you pay for, but management should inspect rooms after cleaning. Please also recognize the front desk team, they’re keeping this place going.

The breakfast really stood out, a full bar with eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, and fresh juices. It was a 10 out of 10. The staff were very friendly, and the room was quiet, super clean, and well cared for. I made the decision to stay at the Baymont Inn in Snyder, Texas at the last minute, and had an amazing experience. I’d happily stay again anytime.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the soap smelled nice. The shower pressure was great, like a waterfall, until the water briefly stopped right after I put shampoo on, then came back VERY HOT. We could hear the TV next door through the thin walls. Our TV came with two identical remotes, but only one worked, and it only turned the TV on, so we had just one channel. The front desk young lady tried to fix it but couldn’t. The tissue box was empty, and the room phone didn’t work at all. Breakfast was C+. We won’t stay there again.

I took several pictures as soon as I entered the room because it was so nasty. Trash, including a toothpick, was on the floor beside the bed, the carpet clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in ages, and dust covered the headboards and the light above the sink. The drawers were dirty too. I wasn’t walking around without shoes, and the rest of the hotel didn’t look much better. It was the worst room I’ve ever seen, and I really want to ask for a refund. Twice I acted like I’d left my key in the room, and they handed over a replacement after asking only for the room number, without checking who I was. Not safe or healthy at all. DO NOT STAY HERE!
