La Quinta Inn Suites By Wyndham Columbus Tx

I was in Columbus for work and couldn't sleep during my one-night stay. The bed and backsplash were nice, and the room itself was nice, but there was rust in the tub and on the lamp, and the curtain was see-through. The pool needed cleaning and the Jacuzzi was broken. Furniture was scattered around the hotel, and staff said they were remodeling.

The hotel was being renovated while still open, apparently. Some things were okay, but our room wasn't, and the photos show it. The bathroom was filthy and worn out, and the internet was too slow for work. I stayed one night on November 28, 2025, and whether or not that room had been finished, its condition wasn't acceptable.

I was left without money for the next day's stay after the hotel charged my card twice and placed two holds. I paid at the hotel, so the front desk woman's claim that Expedia had charged me made no sense. When I called back, she insisted only one charge showed and couldn't answer my questions. She said the manager would be in at 10:00 and call me, but no one did. Later, the front desk worker was rude, didn't know what was going on, and kept saying the manager wasn't available. When I asked if he could call her, he said she wouldn't be able to do anything, then said she'd left. Now I have to wait until Monday to dispute the charge. A horrible experience. I'll go to the BBB next, then the media and headquarters. Shame on them.

30/09/2025 I booked here because Holiday Inn was full, and it turned out to be the worst experience of my life. The room and toilet were filthy and smelled awful, water was leaking everywhere, the towels were dirty, and the sink was broken. Breakfast was so bad it barely deserved the name. I hope you take these complaints seriously and fix them.
