The shower pressure was good, and I didn't see any roaches or bedbugs, despite what others have said. The rooms are somewhat worn, and the outside feels a bit sketchy. I wouldn't leave valuables in the car, and I'd watch your surroundings. For the price, you get what you'd expect. You really can't beat the rate.

Nancy at reception was accommodating about my situation and made me feel at ease. The customer service at this motel was great.

The front desk staff were pleasant, and I didn't spot any roaches. They appear to be renovating the hotel, though the price still felt a little high for what you get. The coffee machine in the lobby was ancient and out of order. They definitely need a new one, though honestly I wouldn't drink the coffee even if it worked. There was also a scene with a couple staying near my room. The man was dealing with an overly dramatic friend who wouldn't let up, and the police came to calm things down.

I got to the room and found a chewed blue piece of gum right on top of the headboard. There were dead flies on the bed and counter, long black hairs on the bed, more flies buzzing around, and a rancid, stale smell. I left immediately and handed back the key. No drive is too long to avoid staying in such a raggedy, nasty place. Before that, my online reservation confirmation said to pay at check-in, but when I arrived I learned it had been canceled without any notice. I booked another room, paid, and only then was told to sign a contract saying all fees were nonrefundable.
