Days Inn Southington

After an overnight flight, I arrived too late to check in for the day before my reservation and too early for my actual arrival date. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. They arranged an early check-in so I could get some sleep and spend time with my family later that day, instead of leaving me to figure out how to rest and pass the time on my own.

The rooms were nice, and the hotel is right off the main highway, but the staff's service was the real highlight. They were wonderful all through our stay. I accidentally left a sentimental item in the room, and Nishi found it and got it back to me quickly, with a very friendly conversation. I'm grateful we stayed here and would recommend it to any traveler.

I'd highly recommend this Daysinn. It's clean, professional, quiet, and in a private location. There are all kinds of stores and restaurants nearby, and breakfast comes with the room.

When I arrived for my reservation, I was told the hotel accepts dogs but not cats. As a cat owner, I find that policy discriminatory and frustrating. Cats can also be emotional support animals and deserve the same treatment as dogs. Because of the policy, I had to cancel and book at another hotel that accepts cats. If you have a cat, don't bother trying to stay here.
