Cedar House was the perfect place for our wedding weekend. We used it as a place for our bridal party to stay and get ready, and Dave was lively, welcoming, and accommodating to both the party and our wedding vendors. The rooms were lovely, and there was plenty of shared space for everyone to hang out, with a stocked bar, lots of games, and a backyard vineyard. Dave cooked a different breakfast each morning, and every one was unbelievable. We loved Cedar House so much that we’ve already booked a return for our one-year anniversary. Can’t wait to be back next year!

Dave and Donna made us feel so welcome, comfortable, and well fed during our August long weekend. Dave went above and beyond with some challenging dietary restrictions and made some of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. He also helped arrange a wonderful beach day. The property is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, with lots of places to spend time outside the rooms. The landscaping was stunning, and our room was peaceful and had everything we needed. Dave and Donna seemed to have thought of everything, or refined their craft down to a precise science. My husband, my in-laws, and I are so thankful for our stay and hope to return. They’re probably the best B&B proprietors I’ve come across in all my stays at B&Bs.

We had the house to ourselves in a lovely cedar setting. David made a delicious breakfast that even my husband enjoyed, and he’s the sort who’d eat pizza for breakfast. It felt like a home away from home.

Cedar House is a relaxed, rustic place to get away. Spend the day exploring Long Island or stay in and play pool, chess, other table games, or yard games. You can sit outside with a drink or grill, then come back to all of it and wake up to a gourmet breakfast. We’ll be back many times in the coming years to visit our son and his family, who live just three minutes away. Thank you, Dave and Donna!

The scenery is beautiful, and the rooms and shared spaces are great. The adventurous breakfast chef makes the stay even better. It costs more than a budget hotel, but you get what you pay for.
