I'll keep staying here because it's affordable and gives me a place to sleep, which is about all I need. The staff are good people. But anyone looking for excellent rooms will have to try somewhere else nearby. I've stayed here often while visiting Spanish Fork from St George, and every room seems to have something wrong with it. Cleanliness could be more thorough, as my posted photos of room 209 show. It also seems like Choice Hotels gives the staff little to work with to make this a five-star place. Update: I looked after the room where the gentleman got a gash in his leg, and my guest nearly had the same problem in Jan 2026. We both had to strip the bed down to the frame and fix the metal supports. The ends were missing their plastic protectors and had duct tape on them. After we fixed that, the double bed nearest the door had no more issues. I believe it was room 112 on the west side.

The young man at the front desk was helpful and really nice when he checked me in. The hotel does work if you just need somewhere cheap, but it feels quite old and could be a lot nicer with a little more effort. There was debris left from the previous guest on the room carpet, which clearly hadn't been vacuumed. The water pressure was very low, and the bed was really uncomfortable.

The beds were small, though at least the mattresses didn't hurt my back, and the pillows and sheets were fine. Still, the breakfast was awful, and I don't want to stay here again. This is the worst Quality Inn I've stayed at, and it has nothing but bad reviews. Judging by the room sizes and other things, it seems to have taken over from some rundown, low-budget hotel.

The room had a slight smoke smell even though it was marked non-smoking. There was no plug for filling the bathtub, and the TV reception was horrible. It was advertised at $60, but I was charged $100. This definitely wasn't a $100-a-night room.
