We were tired, cold, hungry, and a little grumpy, and the desk clerk was still happy to talk with us and tell us what was open. By then the shift had changed, and the gentleman was every bit as amazing as the woman who’d checked us in. He knew the area and told us the only three places open were tacobell, dominoes, and a gas station. The town pretty much shuts down by 10pm, so that was good to know. We’re two southerners who clearly aren’t built for the cold. I’m pretty picky about hotels and motels, but a blizzard completely changed our route home, so we took what we could get. They accept pets, and we called to get some sleep. We checked in on 12/28/25 around 9pm. The woman at the front desk was incredibly helpful and had a great personality. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and we all felt at home. If I ever go back to spearhead, I’ll 100% stay here again. Great staff, super clean and comfy rooms, and amenities you’d expect from most higher-end chains.

The beds are extra nice, and I had one of the best nights of rest I’ve had. The rooms were clean, and the people working here were especially friendly. Highly recommend, best place to stay.

We got into Spearfish pretty late, and the front desk agent at the Days Inn was there to help as soon as we arrived. She found us enough time at a decent price. The room was amazing, very well kept, and the big comfortable beds let me sleep so well. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is handy, right by Safeway, restaurants, and trails. I was surprised that everywhere I wanted to go was less than a 10 minute drive from the hotel.

We’re quickly making this our regular stop when we travel between Indiana and Montana. It’s right off RT 90, with a large lot that can fit RVs and tractor-trailers, and it’s a convenient place to stay on the way through. The front desk staff are pleasant, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is decent, though they could add a little variety, maybe bagels.

After hours of finding nothing, I was sooo glad to find somewhere that takes pets! They were really friendly, check-in was quick, and the pet deposit was cheaper than anywhere else, which helped me financially. The room was roomy and very clean, the bed smelled fresh and was comfy, and check-out was easy. Loved being able to park right in front of my door. So awesome!
