FairBridge Inn & Suites Fort Wayne

I spent two nights here and thought it was good value for the price. The stay was pleasant and quiet, and I’d come back to this area and stay here again. The building is large with wide hallways, and the room had a comfortable bed and a good shower. There’s a Mexican restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, and a Cracker Barrell about a two-minute walk away.

This is an aging hotel, apparently a former Lee's Inn, but the owner keeps it well maintained for its age. He, his wife, and family clearly take pride in the business. It’s a quiet, clean budget hotel, and I’ve never had a bad stay in all my visits. I’ve stayed here countless times over the past 10(?) years when visiting my hometown of Ft. Wayne. I came less often after returning to Indiana nearly three years ago, but while I lived in the Mid South, I stayed here often, exclusively, for family visits and appointments. It’s inexpensive and comfortable with no frills. I haven’t used the pool, so I can’t comment on it. Breakfast is limited, so I’d go to the nearby IHOP or Cracker Barrel, with Cracker Barrel within walking distance. Mrs. Patel makes fresh hot coffee daily. I’ll be back. Thank you, Mr. & Mrs. Patel.

A nice, relaxing place to get away for a bit, with a good-sized parking lot and great communication. My damage deposit came back earlier than I expected. I’ll definitely return.

When we arrived, we saw two people checking out right after checking in because their room was dirty. The parking lot was empty, and after we got there we found the awful reviews, including reports of bedbugs. We checked our room and found them too. The utilities were poor quality as well. Like the other guests, we had trouble getting a refund, and the man at the desk yelled at us. I’d rather sleep outside than stay here.
