The hotel is handy for the highway and nearby shopping, hospital visits, or family outings. It's a suburban spot rather than somewhere scenic or close to downtown Spokane, roughly 10-15 miles from the main attractions. Free parking and no resort fee help keep the cost down. Rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds, good sheets, plenty of pillows, flat-screen TVs, and free fast WiFi. There's an indoor heated pool and hot tub, plus a 24-hour fitness center. Breakfast is a real spread for a free hotel meal: waffles, omelets, biscuits and gravy, fruit, pastries, cereal, and coffee. The staff are generally welcoming and helpful, and the hotel tends to stay quiet even when busy. A few people may find the beds too soft, and there are occasional reports of neighbor or HVAC noise. Breakfast service can slow down at peak times. For the price, though, it's a reliable, clean place with useful amenities. It's well suited to a short family or business stay, though not a luxury property.

The mattresses were worn out years ago. They tried covering that up with a topper, but it comes loose during the night. The air conditioner had a tired whining sound, so we left it off to get some peace.

The service was great, and we liked the pool and breakfast. Our first room smelled like dog pee, but they moved us right away when we asked. There was also a pipe leak on the first floor, so we were glad to get moved up to the third. For a discounted hotel, it was about what you'd expect. The curtains could use a wash or replacement.
