It was a rough travel day, and this turned into a terrible experience. I booked through Priceline because the hotel was listed as pet friendly, but they wouldn’t let me check in because I had cats. I had to quickly find another place. The next hotel was listed as pet friendly too and happened to be right next door. I checked in without any issue; they didn’t ask about pets, and things were fine until the following morning, when I was told I’d broken the rules and wasn’t welcome at any of their affiliate properties. They accused me of sneaking in my cats. Assuming guests are trying to do something wrong is poor customer service. If you won’t accept cats, good service would mean helping your guest find a hotel that does. Be better.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the stay was nice. The manager working last night was especially kind and helpful. Our little guy fell in the hallway and was bleeding everywhere. I grabbed a towel without thinking, then apologized for it. She said it was totally understandable and that we wouldn’t be charged. While I held the towel to his face, she went to get us some ice.

We booked days ahead, arrived at 4 even though check-in was at 3, and still had no room. A lot of customers were waiting and upset because there weren’t any rooms available. We had to wait at least an hour, maybe longer, and since we don’t live in Spokane, that was a waste of time. Never booking here again. The breakfast was bad too. At least they’re next to Dennys.

The shower pressure was heavenly, but I’d only come back if I wanted a shower. The room was roomy, though it smelled old, like the whole outdated building. The fridge was the smallest I’ve ever seen. Both beds had broken springs, so you sank into them. The tiny pillows were square. The bathroom was small and cold, and with no tub, the curtain was all that kept water from spraying out, so be careful. Breakfast was cold and not very tasty. There is a pool, but it’s in the building next door. The room was noisy, too, and the windows were small. I wouldn’t return. Minus one.
