Arbor Suites Medical Mile

We only needed somewhere to sleep after a disappointing Buc-ee's road trip, arriving close to midnight and heading out at 11 am. The hotel was inexpensive and had clean rooms with the basics. Nothing fancy, but the beds were comfortable, and I liked the good-sized fridge and vinyl floors. I missed breakfast because I overslept, so I can’t say how it was. I’d stay again.

The room and service made up for our initial confusion about the setup. There’s a breezeway and each room has a motel-style outside door, which may catch people off guard if they expect a hotel entrance. Inside, the rooms were modern and clean, and the price was great. Although it’s right by the interstate, the noise was very light and didn’t bother anyone in our group. I felt safe, as did my elderly family members.

We got great service, an early booking without any trouble, and everything we needed. The rooms were very clean, with a mini fridge and freezer, lots of drawers, and comfortable mattresses. The bed box seemed flimsy and made noise when I got in or turned over. The shower pressure was great, but the shower head looked cheaply fitted, the faucet shook when the water was turned on, and the shampoo wasn’t great. The lobby is small, and you have to go outside to reach the rooms. It’s right off the highway and near just about anything you might need. To reach the rear parking, you take a narrow lane along the building and have to drive over a huge pothole. Reviews unlimited.

The main drawbacks were loud conversations in the parking lot below our room and two big spiders in the bathtub. Otherwise, it was a clean, comfortable room near hospitals and cancer treatment facilities. There was a desk for working, two upholstered chairs, a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.
