Adrian at the front desk has gone above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The rooms and hotel are clean, and the kitchenette is better equipped than in an average extended-stay place, with everything you’d need. I especially like that the pots and pans are stainless steel. There’s also a full-size fridge and freezer, which is useful for a longer stay. There aren’t many pet-friendly hotels that take cats, and Candlewood Suites Eugene Springfield is one of them. The beds are a bit firm, but the soft down pillows help; firmer cotton pillows are available too. Guests can also use the free laundry and gym.

The staff were helpful and quick to respond to our requests. Every room has a mini kitchen with a full-size fridge, at least a two-burner cooktop, and a microwave. There’s no free breakfast, but the pricing lets you save by preparing your own meals. Some rooms have recliners, though they’re apparently phasing those out, so ask if you’re expecting one.

This is my second visit in two months. I’ve been working in Eugene for the past four months, and now this feels like home. It’s quiet here, with no noise, and you can get an amazing view of the river. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast isn’t included, but you have a full kitchen to make breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

We spent nearly two weeks at Candlewood while my husband was working. The room layout was amazing, and the stay was incredibly comfortable. Everyone on staff was kind and great. We’ll definitely stay again.

The staff and housekeeping were lovely, and the exercise room and snack bar were great. Everyone was so sweet and helpful. It’s also really close to downtown Eugene and Springfield. Thank you!
