Candlewood Suites Springfield-Medical District

The room was adequate, and I still had a decent stay. I was only there one night and checked in later than usual. They told me they don’t “typically” rent to people from Springfield, which seemed pretty absurd. It was a little expensive, though the late booking, short notice, and full occupancy made the price understandable.

We’d already paid in full, but the staff treated us very rudely while my wife’s mother was in the hospital. We’d moved out of the area a couple of months earlier, though her license still showed our old address. They accused her of trying to take advantage of staying locally, even after I showed my current license proving we no longer lived there. They said they wouldn’t serve us next time because we were local. On top of that, only one access card worked, and my wife got locked out late at night after coming back from the hospital.

We were in town for a medical procedure, and the staff made the stay easy. They were accommodating and helpful, the room had what we needed, and everything worked. It was clean and in a good location too. I’d gladly stay here again if I’m back in the area. Thank you!

I was here for a work trip and stayed 10 weeks. Every employee I met was friendly and helpful, and they really made an effort to get things right. The room was nice, and everything was very clean. I’d come back for a personal trip too.
