We came to Springfield for the Harlem Globetrotters game and to check out Rt. 66 things. Everyone was pleasant and helpful, and the cookies and coffee were good. Our room was nice, and the guy who checked us in was really helpful and informative. He recommended Smokey Bones, where the food was really good. When my husband had a reaction, he suggested urgent care instead of the ER, and they were quick and efficient. We'd definitely stay here again.

The rooms felt old, and the hallways smelled strongly of marijuana, which made me uncomfortable. Breakfast was poor and customer service very bad. The lower price didn't make up for it. My stay at Comfort Suites in Springfield was disappointing, and I don't recommend this hotel.

I bring my family here all the time because we love the hotel and the breakfast is amazing. The pool is the best part. It's actually five feet deep, so at 5'8" the water comes up to my neck, just like it should. If you're after a good family vacation, book here, you won't regret it.

Even with the state Fair going on and the hotel busy, it was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and kept stocked, and when the dining area filled up, they let guests eat in the conference room. The pool was a comfortable temperature, and the hotel was very clean. The beds were a little too firm for me, but that's personal preference. Prices were great, too. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly, and he was the first hotel employee this year to acknowledge my Choice Privileges Gold status and offer the free snack and drink or points. I chose the snack. I didn't get his name, but he was an African American gentleman with dreads. Even the maintenance guy chatted with us and was friendly. You have a great crew here, and this is now a favorite for our future Springfield trips. We'll definitely be back.

I liked the suites, especially having a separate seating area, and the beds made for great sleeping. Breakfast was just okay.
