Hampton Inn Springfield-South

We showed up without a reservation, got a great room price, and were allowed to check in early. They sent us upstairs with a bag of cold water bottles, which was a nice touch. The room was clean and comfortable. There’s a hot drink bar stocked around the clock with coffee, cocoa, herbal teas, and all the add-ins. Breakfast the next morning was hot and delicious, with something for everyone.

We stayed here years ago, and the renovations are easy to see. They’ve clearly put time and money into updating the hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. Our room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable, so we slept well. I’d happily stay here again.

The hotel seemed to have a full cleaning team, rather than just two or three people trying to clean the whole place, and it made a big difference. The rooms were very clean, and housekeeping was changing the bedding. I also couldn’t hear other guests from inside my room, which was a bonus. Staff were professional, and breakfast was very good.

Shopping is easy from this Hampton Inn, since it’s right beside a large shopping area. We were given one of the renovated rooms while the hotel is being renewed, and everything in it was good. The desk staff were very friendly and even offered to find a restaurant and look for coupons. Breakfast was more than enough. I’d happily recommend staying here.
