They need a better phone and someone with brains and manners to answer it. Calling on a cold night and getting this response was pathetic and disappointing. I've never had trouble with Motel 6 in Illinois, and I'm a regular customer of the chain. What a shame. I'll talk to a senior manager.

The staff were friendly and quick to help, and both times my room was clean with no problems. I've stayed here twice with my dogs, and I like that there's no pet fee. My two puppies and I will use this location again.

Always clean, quiet, and welcoming, with good customer service. This is one of the better motels in the Springfield area, and I feel appreciated whenever I stay. There are lots of restaurants nearby, plus a big parking lot, laundry facilities, and free coffee in the lobby. I'd recommend it.

Our room had mold, and my children, dog, and family were exposed to it for nearly a week. We also kept getting skipped for service because we had a dog. I'd ask staff to wait a moment while I got the dog out, but they'd move on anyway, so I had to keep going to the desk for clean towels and sheets. Then I was told I couldn't extend our stay because we'd left towels outside the room. No one had warned me. I thought that was normal since other guests did it too. I was on my way to work and had to call out so I could find my family another hotel while we waited for our new apartment. I was told to contact corporate, but corporate said only the property could give a refund. I'm getting the runaround after spending a lot of money here. The customer service was bad, and the mold was a health risk.
