The front desk clerk was nice, and when I mentioned the problems, he immediately offered to move us. We chose to stay, and it was a pleasant night. The old-looking hallways and the building’s age are noticeable, but the beds made up for a lot: the clean sheets, non-carpeted floor, and comfortable main room made for the restful sleep we needed. The price was right, too. The bathroom was rundown, though the shower worked reliably. There was a kick mark on the door, and it was difficult to close; someone had also written on the bathroom walls. If you’re looking for an inexpensive place to sleep well and know some things may be worn, this could work. That’s why I gave it four stars.

We were back from vacation and needed just one night on the way home. The room was spacious for a motel, with clean beds and bathroom, plus a clean microwave and refrigerator. The place was well lit and clean, and the attentive staff got us checked in quickly even around 1 AM while other people were arriving. We had no major complaints and would stay again. One small thing: the mattress slid easily when I sat against the headboard to read, so I ended up lying down instead. The nearby gas station was handy, and Cracker Barrel worked perfectly for breakfast before we got back on the road.

Room 131 was disgusting. The bathroom ceiling tiles were moldy and falling down, with one propped up by a towel. The room smelled, and the sheets and blanket seemed unwashed or washed without detergent. There were little flying bugs in the bathroom and a fly over the bed. The property is run down and the surrounding area looked pretty sketchy. The woman at the desk had no personality, though she wasn't rude. I strongly suggest staying somewhere else.

The hallways smelled strongly of weed, and sometimes it drifted into our room. The beds were a bit small, though the rooms themselves were okay, about what I expected. Maybe that smell doesn't bother you, but I won't stay here next time I'm in town.
