The quiet office area was useful, though the printer was painfully slow: five documents took almost 40 minutes, and there weren’t many supplies. The rest of the stay was comfortable. The Fairfield Inn & Suites felt new and well kept, with a clean, roomy room, a comfortable bed, and a well-lit desk that worked well for getting things done. The bathroom was bigger than I expected, and its sliding barn-style door made good use of the space. Breakfast was included, with a good croissant sandwich and hot coffee. I’d stay here for work or a trip, and better office equipment would make the experience even better.

The mattress felt quite firm, and the pillows were softer than I like. I usually sleep fine in hotels, even after hundreds of stays, so that stood out. Aside from the bedding, the place was neat, clean, and comfortable.

Breakfast was simple, but the eggs and sausage were hot and saved us another stop in the morning. After a long interstate drive, we needed somewhere to sleep, and this Fairfield worked well. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and I got a great night's rest. Staff were friendly without making a fuss. When I asked for late checkout, the woman at the front desk just said, "no problem." It’s right off the highway, with gas stations and a few restaurants nearby. A clean, quiet, dependable option in St. Joe.

The hot water issue was handled quickly by the front desk staff. They patiently gave me the choice of a discounted rate or a full refund so I could find another hotel. Things can go wrong anywhere, and I appreciated how accommodating the team was.

I'm a Gold Elite member of over 20 years. At 8:45 pm on October 19th 2025, the girl wearing the KC Chiefs shirt, if management wants to check the cameras, gave me a room right off the breakfast lobby after I specifically asked for somewhere quiet away from the elevators. She'd said my room was down the hall, but it wasn't. I went back for another room, and she acted like I was a hassle. No apology, just handed me a new card. This is the first time I've ever written up a Marriott.
