Como Lake Bed and Breakfast.

We had the Aerie Suite, which takes up the whole third floor. It was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable, though the stairs could be a challenge for some. Our windows looked across the road toward Como Lake, and the views were gorgeous. We liked relaxing on the front porch in the evening, looking over the garden and lake. The house is charming and clearly well cared for. Carla was a wonderful hostess. She asked about breakfast preferences and allergies right away, and each day's meal was delicious and different, mostly organic, locally sourced and made from scratch. She was also very accommodating with our autistic daughter's needs. My favorite was the veggie, egg and goat cheese dish served with bacon. For our first trip to Minnesota, we couldn't have found a better place. We'll be back, and I've already recommended it to other travelers.

As someone who also runs a bed and breakfast, I really admire the peaceful atmosphere you've made at Como Lake B&B. The lake views are serene, and guests rave about breakfast. Your restored 1915 Craftsman has antique character, cozy rooms and a warm welcome. It seems like a lovely place to relax or explore nearby attractions.

Carla's breakfasts were so wonderful that I forgot to take pictures, oops. She's a lovely hostess, and the house was cozy and comfortable for relaxing after we explored. It's an easy walk to the Como Zoo and Conservatory. We had a real treat of a stay and will definitely return!

Carla knows her way around a kitchen and was a terrific host. We had a great time visiting St Paul, and the location worked perfectly for seeing the city or enjoying the lovely Como Park neighborhood. We'll certainly stay again on a future trip.
