Dolphin Beach Resort

We had a balcony room with a beautiful beach view, and I’d happily come back. The rooms are dated, with dust you could clearly see on the ceilings, but the beds and bathroom were clean. The staff we met at check-in, the bar, restaurant, and tiki bar were all so friendly and helpful, a joy to talk to. Highly recommend.

Everything we needed was close by: across the street there’s a Publix, a great Italian restaurant, dolphin cruise charters, and a Walgreens. The location was perfect, the staff were great, and we had the best time. You also get daily freebies, a discount on food, and free shuttles that can take you all over.

I booked before reading reviews, and after seeing some of them I wasn’t sure what to expect. Turns out it’s a great little hidden gem. Every staff member was amazing, the food was very good, and the drinks and bartenders were above average. The pool and beach were the highlights, and live entertainment was a real plus. Yes, it’s dated and could use some repairs and updates, but the good parts made that easy to overlook. I hear they’re updating the rooms, which should make this a perfect spot.

The beach wasn’t crowded, and the front desk lady was awesome and helpful in every way she could be. Some of the staff were really nice, and we got a warm welcome. There’s only one pool, so it felt crowded and wasn’t a great place to hang out. I wish the resort had more things to do. We had no cutlery in the room, but could go down and get some. The rooms feel like hotel rooms anywhere. When we asked for a shovel, staff brought me a real one, not a plastic one, and my son loved it. Thanks again for the hospitality.
