Island's End Resort

The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the patio is so cute. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the place is perfectly situated for a beautiful beach vacation. Great restaurants and an ice cream shop are close by, and it was easy to get groceries. We’ll definitely be back. This is our new favorite spot.

We stayed in Villa C over Thanksgiving and have already booked a return for spring. We’d talked about coming here for years, and I’m so glad we finally did. The staff made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. They were so friendly and accommodating that we never felt like the new people. The villa was immaculate and well-appointed in the Old Florida style we enjoy. It may not be everyone’s kind of place, but we felt lucky to spend sunny days at the beach, read beneath the huge Sea Grape trees, and watch dolphins from the beachfront swing. What a treat.

I spent a week here with my dog, and the place exceeded all my expectations. He’s very well behaved but active, and does best off leash. Because he behaved well, he was allowed to roam freely around the resort. The staff were so nice to him and spoiled him with treats and toys. Ten stars for being dog-friendly! Housekeeping was very good, and staff brought me beach chairs and an umbrella when I asked. Funny thing is, I didn’t need them because there are chairs by the beach shaded by a gorgeous sea grape tree. You can spend a whole day on the beach without carrying anything, like a chair, cooler, towels, umbrella, or toys, since anything you need is just a walk back to your room. The place is laid-back, attentive, and personable. It feels like I’ve found a hidden gem.

We rented the whole place for our wedding ten years ago, and now my wife and I return every year for our anniversary. It still feels like a magical place, and the staff are always so accommodating and top-notch. Best place.
