The spacious suites and kitchens make longer stays comfortable, and there's free hot breakfast, an outdoor pool, and helpful staff. Guests often praise the cleanliness, service, and location. Some rooms do feel dated, and their condition seems to vary.

Renovation work was going on during my stay, but the breakfast still stood out as the best I've had at a hotel I use for work. Chorizo and pulled pork carnitas, seriously? Maybe that's just Texas, but I love it here. In N Out is also within walking distance.

The Wednesday social was a cool vibe, and I liked Ms. Beth, who was always pleasant and friendly. Still, the overnight front desk man made my two weeks here uncomfortable enough that I packed up and moved to another hotel. Every interaction felt cold. He never smiled or tried to be friendly, and as a Black guest I felt looked down on or treated differently. I always showed him respect, especially since he was older than me, but got the same blank stare every night. When I passed him, he would noticeably fake cough, which felt disrespectful. I hoped things would change, but they didn't. That kind of treatment affected what could have been a pleasant stay, and I hope management addresses it. Every guest deserves to feel respected and comfortable. The hotel is old, some rooms are better than others, and I don't think it's worth the nightly rate. People can be unkind for no reason.

I rarely leave a bad review, but the front desk staff's hospitality here was rude and unprofessional. More than once, asking a question or needing help made me feel like I was doing something wrong. There was no basic courtesy or respect for guests. I guess you get what you pay for. I won't book here again. If you're traveling with people you care about, choose somewhere they'll be treated like guests.
