Most of the room lights were missing, there was no toilet paper, and one bed had no pillowcases. Neither bed had sheets, just blankets over the mattresses. The cable was off, leaving only about four over-the-air channels. It was freezing when we came in, and the rooms were cold too. My sister-in-law was moved after finding no working heat in her room, but the replacement room had no heat either. The owner said it was the room she gave her own family and that it was “fine for them.” My sister-in-law was exhausted, so she gave up and stayed, but she was cold all night. The owner was peeling garlic beside the entrance, and the smell was hard to miss. She got angry when we complained. I won't stay there again.

We got a room at the last minute on a Saturday, which really helped after an exhausting weekend. It was clean and comfortable, and we both slept well. My friend left a brand-new shirt behind. Since we'd already left the area and were heading back to MN, the staff mailed it to his home at no charge. That's great customer service. I'd stay again if I'm nearby.

Booking.com listed breakfast as included, but all we got was a bottle of Sunny D and a packaged Rice Krispy bar. They also charged my card twice, and getting the extra charge refunded was a hassle. The bed was uncomfortable, and when we arrived the lobby was dark. The phone number on the assistance note went unanswered.

The woman at the desk was kind and even went to get us McDonald's after I mentioned how sparse breakfast was. The options were mini Oreos, no cereal or bread, just a toaster. The rooms are dated, and I could feel every spring in the beds.

The free breakfast was just packaged Rice Krispy treats, mini cookies, and a few bananas. The beds were really thin, the TV remote only partly worked, and some room lights were out. My smoke alarm had no battery, with its cover left open. It was overpriced, but the roads got so bad that I had no choice but to stop there. Next time I'll just sleep in my car.
