The nightly rate is very low, and you can walk to everything worth doing. But my nonsmoking room smelled of smoke, the shower drain was clogged, and used towels from the previous guest were still there. I doubt the sheets had been changed either.

Finding dead bed bug skins all over the room was awful. Thankfully, we spotted them before touching the bed and had kept our belongings off the floor. When we told the manager, she called the owners right away. They snuck past us to get into the room and try to hide the evidence. They initially said they'd refund us, then refused and claimed they'd only said it to get us to leave. The worst experience we could have had.

For football games, b/w weekend, or other events, this is my first choice when I come back. The location is a steal, right by all the bars and memorabilia you could want. If you're tailgating and hanging out, you'll probably only spend a few hours in the room anyway. It's a good place to crash, though I wouldn't choose it for a family stay.

The rooms were really cheap, and you get what you pay for. The area looked sketchy, and the rooms were old and run down. Even the bathroom door wouldn't shut all the way. Not great, but at least it was inexpensive.
