The staff were courteous and professional, though they didn’t seem surprised when I said I couldn’t stay because of the smell. Within minutes of entering the room, the strong chemical fragrance was making me feel physically nauseous. I later saw that other Google reviewers had mentioned it too, and I wish I’d read more before booking. I’ve never canceled a reservation because of a room’s condition before. I know it’s an older hotel that needs updating, but this room was unacceptable for the price. I found another room at a similar rate that same night, just down the street.

The room was extremely cramped, and the bathroom had no exhaust fan. The beds listed as doubles felt more like singles. I’d also asked by phone for a rollaway and was told yes, only to be told no when I arrived. The front desk staff were rude and irritated. At $450, that room should’ve cost closer to $75.

This place is mostly adequate, but very bare bones. The bathroom has almost no counter space, and the low, cheap-looking ceiling makes the tiny room feel gloomy and cramped. It seems due for renovation soon.
