Comfort Inn & Suites

The hotel and rooms were very clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was great. The location was good too. But the rooms felt unusually small. Our refrigerator didn't work, and there was a strange black stain on the sheet that looked like makeup.

The stink bugs were all over the place. We found several in each of our two adjoining rooms and in the hallway. There were also white stains across about 90% of the upholstered chair and bed skirts, and the whole building smelled strongly of must. At the front desk, we asked for a full refund. The attendant apologized and said they had a stink bug problem this time of year but there was “nothing they could do about it”; she did issue the refund, which I appreciated. They clearly know about the issue and apparently aren't dealing with it. Do yourself a favor and pay extra for the Marriott or Hilton across the street.

We got a double bed instead of the queen we'd booked, but we weren't in the room much, so I didn't complain. Otherwise the room was nice, and the hotel was decent with a hot breakfast. It felt like a typical hotel just off the interstate.

I was there for work during the snowstorm, working overnight, and the breakfast was a welcome treat afterward. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Thanks for taking care of us in the middle of all that storm chaos.
