Hometown Inn Staunton VA near Hwy 11

They were very kind while helping me with my reservation and got me into a room that suited my needs better. I was happier with the price and service I received, regardless of how the room looked.

I absolutely loved this place and highly recommend it. It’s my go-to when I travel, and it’s extremely affordable. The outside is built with stones, and the floors inside are new and really pretty. There’s a balcony with chairs overlooking beautiful greenery. Sitting there with the birds chirping and singing in such a peaceful place was wonderful. Checkout at noon! Give it a chance if you’re traveling and need a great place. I woke up feeling refreshed. 😀😀❤️🥰🙏❤️😸🥳🥳🥳🥳

I’d been driving all day and through the night, and finally got too tired to continue. At 4am on Aug 23, I stopped at Home Town Inn with my dog for a couple of hours’ sleep. I paid for the room and the dog fee, then walked into room 112 and found it horribly dirty. There was about a 4-inch laying on one of the beds, the room smelled awful, the floors clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and there were dead bugs in the tub. It was so filthy I wouldn’t let my dog touch the floor. Save your money and don’t stay here if dirt bothers you. For the same price, go to Comfort Inn at exit 217. It’s much cleaner and feels a lot safer.

The service was poor, if there was any at all. The internet kept acting up, and even though we paid $375 a week, we had to take out our own trash, clean our room, and go get our own towels and washcloths. Just a poor experience all around, and not somewhere I want to visit again.
