This quiet town has some good restaurants, and the Supet 8 is convenient and quiet. It's a very clean, super eight in Staunton Illinois, and a regular stop for me when I race my dogs. We really appreciate that they let our dogs stay, especially since hotels that allow dogs without horrendous fees are hard to find. Our group makes sure to clean up after the dogs and leave no mess.
The rooms were clean enough, but for me the savings weren't worth it. Wifi was nonexistent, the TV was awful, and the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. It's cheap, but don't expect much else.
It's an older hotel in a good location. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was decent, and we'd stay here again.
After a 14-hour drive, we just needed somewhere to sleep, but the room was so disgusting I would have happily driven the extra three hours to our destination. There were bugs on the wall and hair all over the shower walls. Breakfast was only yogurt and stale cereal, and whenever we needed help, nobody was at the front desk.
My back was hurting badly, and when my key quit working, the front desk brought a replacement to me while I sat in the hallway. The room was one of the cleanest I've stayed in over the past two weeks, and the rest of the hotel looked very clean too. The lobby had nice decor and lighting.
